Welcome to the TBC Comedy Club
“The Awkward Thoughts of W. Kamau Bell” was the book of the month for January
2025. It’s a look at the life and time of Kamau. From his early years to how he made it in Hollywood.
Kamau had an interesting upbring moving from city to city and always staying close to both his parents. He also have a college friend whom he is very close to this day.
The highlight of the book was learning how he handled discrimination incidents by not reacting the way most people thought he would. He always stayed
Selma and Adriene brought the book to life by hosting the meeting at Padewa and turned it into a Comedy Club (Tabahani Style). Once the business of the month was taken care of, we were entertained by comedian Chinedu. We dined on BBQ Beef Brisket, yams, mac & cheese, cabbage and cornbread. YUMMY!!

The book was just ok. The overall rating was a 3.
