On the first day of August, Tabahani Book Circle had the honor of virtually hosting NY Times Bestselling Authors Victoria Christopher Murray and Marie Benedict, authors of The Personal Librarian. A great read full of history.
It was a Red Party with our names changed to fit the characters, objects and places in this Historical Fiction. We had London, Richard Greener, Uncle Mozart, Gutenberg, Minerva Fleet and many more. There was a live auction featuring items straight from the Morgan Library; mug, umbrella and a book all about Belle da Costa Green. The highlight of course was the question and answer time with the authors. Great insight into the creative minds of The Personal Librarian. Thank you to Victoria and Marie and too all our guests who were able to join us.
